Danity Kane Leaves TRL Separately

Danity Kane exited TRL in seperate groups. Aubrey left first and appeared to have received the loudest cheers. She didn't sign any autographs, and after posing for the paparazzi went straight to her SUV. D. Woods came out second, and Dawn, Aundrea, and Shannon came out together a bit later, and got into the same SUV. I wonder why they came in separate cars. Could there be a possible rift in the group like with The Cheetah Girls.

July 25, 2008. Did Aubrey O'Day quit Diddy's group Danity Kane? Well that's what it's starting to look like. For weeks MediaTakeOut.com has been hearing rumors of friction between Aubrey and the group.

And now, MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Aubrey has missed dozens of scheduled group appearances with Danity Kane. Her excuse - apparently Aubrey's too busy doing promo for her new Broadway show Hairspray - which she'll be doing (without her group members through next month).

Lets do the math. Not showing up to group appearances, plus doing a Broadway show without the rest of the group - equals leaving the band. Sounds about right to us....

MediaTakeOut.com spoke with a very senior industry insider who confirmed to us that Aubrey O'Day and D Woods are no longer with Danity Kane. But get this - Aubrey wasn't technically lying when she denied our report.

According to MediaTakeOut.com's insider - Aubrey and D Woods' contract just expired yesterday [October 1, 2008]. Go figure...
